ROT Rally Roars Into Austin

The Republic of Texas (ROT) Rally rolled into Austin tonight. The 15th annual biker event brings thousands of motorcyclists and their rides in from across the country.

Friday night features the infamous Rally Parade to the Capitol Building, which features all types of characters. It will end at 11 p.m. with a jump by legend Robbie Knievel on 11th Street. Most of the other activities take place at the Travis County Expo Center. Events include meet and greets with celebrity bike builders, The Big Texas Chop-Off (a builder's show and competition), an Xtreme Fight Championship, biker games and even midget wrestling.
