Definition: Burnet Road is a road running north-south (east of MOPAC and west of Lamar Blvd.) named for the first president of the Republic of Texas although it's not pronounced the same as his name. The road is Burn-it Durn-it. In far north Austin, MOPAC and Burnet Road converge into FM 1325 going north.
