Welcome to an Austin Gardener's Journal (Judy's, that is). I enjoy gardening, when I find the time for it and when I'm not being attacked by fire ants. Last year I kept a written journal of my garden: what I planted and when, how it produced, what sort of weather we were having, etc.

Since I didn't get around to buying a new journal this year, I thought I'd just go ahead and put my journal online. Believe me, I'm by no means a gardening expert, so I welcome any and all advice to the Austin forum.

From time to time I might also share with you my battles with garden pests, or some tips on gardening.
