The 8.5 mile Town Lake Hike & Bike Trail is one of the most popular in Austin. There are wide paths — often shaded — plenty of water fountains, benches for resting or admiring the view, toilet facilities, and trail markers to help you gage your progress. Walkers, joggers, and bikers peacefully co-exist.
