Go to law school for free on Saturday, February 22 from 8:30am to 1:15pm. The Travis Bar Association is offering free courses in their Annual People's Law School. Held at the University of Texas at Austin Law School, the free courses attract thousands of area residents so register early to make sure you get the class you want.

Just a few of the many offerings are:

  • Family Law: Divorce | Grandparent's Rights.

  • Small Business Law: Business Entities | Commercial Leases

  • Wills and Estate Planning: Overview of valid wills, estate administration

  • Health Insurance: Fighting denials of health coverage

  • Public Information Access: Information that is public under Texas law and how to get it

  • Entertainment Law: Legal primers for writers, musicians, and film industry professionals

In addition to the classes, attendees can take a guided tour on a first-come, first-served basis to learn how to use the UT Law Library.
