From 2000:
From now until the big day I'll be travelling around town and recording the look of Christmas as the trees go up and the lights go on. To kick off the Christmas photo tour join me in a virtual visit of the Chuy's Children Giving to Children Parade (2000). My kids and I had a great view standing in the middle of 10th Street where the parade made its turn to travel down Congress Avenue. Then take a quick spin through Zilker Park to see the preparations underway for the Trail of Lights which officially opens December 10.
On December 1 and 3 the kids and I joined in the countdown for the 8th Annual Downtown Christmas Tree Lighting and the 33rd Annual Zilker Tree Lighting. I've added photos from both ceremonies.
