Actor Benjamin McKenzie

Benjamin McKenzie was born in Austin, Texas in 1978. He was raised in the city and went on to attend Austin High School, where he played wide receiver and defensive back on the football team. After attending college in Virginia, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. He landed one of the lead roles in the teen television show "The O.C." His character was Ryan Atwood, a hunky but troubled teen. He has since starred in movies such as "Junebug" and "88 Minutes."
