If you've moved you need to notify the voter registrar for your county of your new address.
A. If you are simply moving within the same county notify your voter registrar by making changes on your current Voter Registration Certificate and returning it to your voter registrar by mail or in person. Or, you can complete a Voter Registration Change Form available from your Voter Registrar.
For Travis County:

Tax Assessor-Collector
Nelda Wells Spears
P.O. Box 1748, Austin 78767-1748

Same County, Different Precinct[/he]If your move puts you into a different precinct within the County (your precinct number is on the voter registration card) you can still vote in your old precinct until your registration is transferred.

Different County

If you are moving into or out of Travis County you must re-register to vote in your new county of residence. However, if an election occurs within 90 days of moving you may be able to vote a limited ballot in your former county of residence if your new registration is not yet effective.
