Vino Vino is a prime spot for wine fanatics in Austin.

A retail wine store, wine bar, and fine eatery all rolled into one, Vino Vino is heaven for wine lovers in Austin. Just north of campus, this small business is charming and intimate. You can come in and order wine by the glass at the bar or buy some bottles to go from the huge selection in the retail area (you get 15% off two bottles or more).

You can also sit down for some eats; options include cheese plates, calamari, scallops, duck breast, or even goat cheesecake. Beer and coffee drinks are also served. If you’re interested in learning more about wine, attend the free wine tasting on Saturday afternoons; each week, they select three or four different types of wine. Here are the essentials:

Retail store: Monday to Saturday: 11 a.m.-12 a.m., Sunday: 3 p.m.-10 p.m.

Saturdays: Free tasting of three or four types of wine from 3 p.m.-5 p.m.
Sundays: Paella, the Spanish rice dish, is festively served at 7 p.m.

Parking:
Don’t park in the parking lot next to New World Deli; they will tow you. Utilize street parking or other nearby lots.
